HandPainted Swords
Thought I'd do some hand-painted stuffs for fun. Found this sweet piece of concept art and decided to give it a go. These are the high-poly and I've modeled the low-poly. Next is doing some Zbrush work and then baking it out before I move on to texturing it. I love the Egyptian sci-fi theme of the swords, couldn't quite go for the chainsaws swords, even though the eagle head one is pretty slick.

High and Low Poly
So I've been busy doing a project for a client, but in-between product videos I have been slowly finishing this guy up. I think I am ready for modeling seriously in Max now, I'm nowhere near my Maya level sadly, :( but I will gain speed and more knowledge as I pick up more projects. I'm texturing this guy, but for now the main focus is the modeling.

3DS Max
I have an opportunity to possibly work on a cool project if I get my Max skills up to my Maya skills. I've taken the last week to really sit down and learn the modeling toolset. Some things I like, and somethings I don't like, but overall I'm happy with my progress. Yes, another gun. Something about them really tests your hard and organic modeling skills at the same time. As you can see, I have no idea how to make my renders look pretty in Max. Well, not yet at least. Rick Grimes would be proud of this one!

Some Changes
Made some small changes, been looking at it so long not sure if I made it worse? Calling it done for good now!
